Welcome to the ROI Club, the publication dedicated to enhancing your personal freedom. This substack has two segments: The ROI Club and The Maverick Life (TML).

In this segment, you’ll gain access to my investment ideas including deep-dive research pieces + valuations, whilst in TML I share with you the trades I make to generate digital income + other content related to personal sovereignty.

Today we’re going ‘Full- ROI’ so let’s dig in..

I’ve identified and shared ideas over the last 2 years which have been very successful so please consider subscribing, at least to the free list.

Since 2021 I’ve felt the OECD nations are in for some stagflation, the latest data seem to suggest that is indeed playing out:

I’ve been obsessing over how to protect myself and clients and have expressed this in my investment allocation towards commodity related stocks particularly energy and royalty style businesses.

Today’s piece focuses on the asset class that is both a commodity and a royalty machine in nature, land. Of course investment access to land isn’t always easy, particularly in public markets so I’ve provided a deep-dive into my latest investment which is a stock anyone can buy on the NYSE which provides shareholders access to 270,000 acres in southern California.

Enjoying some time back in Aus, camping in Victoria stoked my appreciation for land uses.

Investment Idea: Tejon Ranch Co. NYSE: TRC.

Executive Summary:

Founded in 1843, Tejon Ranch Co. is a diversified real estate development and agribusiness company based in California.

Tejon Ranch Co. owns approximately 270,000 acres of land in Southern California, known as the Tejon Ranch. The company has highly diversified operations including: Agribusiness and Real Estate Development for residential and industrial purposes.

Let me show you what I think it’s worth…
